It is located in the fashionable residential neighbourhood of “La Floresta”, a beautifully traditional area in the northern sector of Quito, which was once the city's most elegant neighbourhood. Now, surrounded by modern buildings, restaurants, hotels and banks, it maintains its fundamental characteristic as a beautiful antique residential area surrounded by luscious trees and grand mansions. Our boutique hotel is just a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet just a short ride away from some of Quito's most popular tourist attractions. This area maintains its reputation as being one of Quito's safest areas; closeby there is also a unique cinema showing cultural Latin American and European films as well as art studios, glass workshops and hidden, exquisite cafés.

Rooms:

The rooms have been individually designed and decorated, to include all modern amenities such as telephones, cable TV, a safe and a fire alert system with sprinklers.  The bathrooms have telephones, 220v. and 110v plug sockets, bathtubs with showers, bathrobes and  hairdryers.

Three lovely republican-style rooms with high ceilings and wooden floors which were the first ones to be built.

Back garden view:

These three rooms enjoy a serene atmosphere since their balconies enjoy a view of the pristinely-maintained garden where resident birds come throughout the day presenting a real life-music concert to the guests.

Upper level rooms:

On this level the bigger and more recently built rooms are located. They are constructed around a beautiful marble and iron staircase with a luxury antique chandelier.     

All of our rooms have been named with regards to the feeling one experiences within them. This is a somewhat subjective way of naming them, but step inside and any suggestions for new names are welcome.

• Meals: In the summer or on bright sunny mornings, guests can enjoy breakfast in our garden whilst listening to early morning birdsong.  Breakfast is served everyday until 10am.  Light evening snacks are also available.  A selection of smoked salmon, assorted cheeses, crisp salads, freshly-baked bread and fine South American wine is available on room service.  The atmosphere is casual and guests can gather, relax and converse whilst listening to music.  The hotel does not house its own restaurant, but 36 of Quito's best restaurants are situated nearby, 20 of them in walking distance. Some restaurants even offer a delivery service should you not wish to leave the hotel.
• Work & network: Unlimited wireless internet at no extra cost is available in the entire hotel, both in the rooms and the gardens. If you don’t have a computer, we can provide laptops upon payment of a small additonal fee.
