Coco Solo beach lodge

Coco Solo is nice small lodge at a pristine beach surrounded by palm groves.

Coco Solo beach lodge is about 1 hour north from the town of Pedernales, 5 hours from Quito. It is close to the Cojimies bay and the Mache Chindul ecological reserve.

We are located at a cool beach with good mellow atmosphere. Here you can enjoy coconut water, our hamocks under the shade of tall coconut palms and the beach. Our little hideaway is lost amongst the coconut groves and attracts lovers of deserted beaches, the only noise you hear is the wind whistling through the palm leaves.

At Coco Solo you are absolutely in the middle of nowhere close to everywhere at the Equator. Sun and beach are your loyal companions.

Activities

From Coco Solo it is easy to reach the Mache Chindul ecological reserve, here you can explore waterfalls and tropical rainforest trails. You will be able to find a great amount of birdlife, howler monkeys, sloths amongst other forest dwellers.

It is also possible to visit the mangrove forests by the coast and the bay at Cojimies.

Horses are available for rent.
