Hotel Carvallo colonial mansion

Located in the heart of the beautiful Cuenca city, Hotel Carvallo is a brand new 4 stars, boutique hotel, built in 1917 it was a colonial house of Cuenca. The old house was rebuilt to give a wonderful ambiance with several "patios" and 3 nice floors where rooms are located.

The Hotel Carvallo, with its Republican design, is located in the historical center of Cuenca. The hotel and its warm and cozy ambience greets you when you open the doors to its magical world.

Opened in late 2002, the Carvallo is full of understated elegance. Yet another lovingly restored old house. The Carvallo with an entry atrium showing off wooden balustrades on the second and third floors; at the back, a second courtyard is surrounded by more rooms.

Rooms:

There are 30 ample rooms, nicely decorated with excellent private facilities. The cozy rooms are appointed with blue walls and armoires made from local black walnut wood. Some come with terrific views of the city; no. 303 has a lovely view of the red-tiled rooftops of Cuenca. The bathrooms are small but spanking new and very clean. If you request a bathrobe at check-in, we will deliver one to your room. The honeymoon suite comes with a king-size bed, plush comforter, and giant candelabra.

The hotel Carvallo can accommodate 50 passengers in single, double and triple rooms. All rooms have TV cable, telephone, hot/cold water, hair dryer, amenities and minibar
